Patsy Sue (Archer) Golenor peacefully passed away at the age of 74 on September 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Patsy was born on September 22, 1950, in Little Rock, AR to Carter and Georgia Mae Archer. She lived a large part of her adult life in Dumas, AR and later lived on Lake Hamilton with her husband David. Following the death of her husband Patsy spent her final years in De Queen, AR.
Patsy found joy in simple pleasures-spending time with her family, immersing herself in the pages of a good book, enjoying the serenity of her front porch, and caring for her beloved dog, Meg, and cat, Thomas.
Patsy is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Michelle and son-in-law John Koonce of Gulf Shores, AL, and her daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Kenneth Martin of De Queen, AR. She was a proud grandmother to Alex Koonce and Anna Koonce of Gulf Shores, AL, Jalyn and Taylor Holt of Mobile, AL, Kayla Martin and Maddie Martin of Fayetteville, AR, and Kade Martin and Jacob Martin of De Queen, AR. Additionally, she leaves behind her sister Jean and her husband Harry Fishel of Ninety Six, South Carolina, her brother Tommy and his wife Debbie Archer of Whitehall, AR, and many nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory.
Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Michael Golenor her parents Carter Lamar and Georgia Mae Archer and her sister Annette Finley.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Golenor will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 30, 2024, at Stoney Point Cemetery in Fordyce, Arkansas with Kenny Martin officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen, Arkansas.
Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her remarkable spirit and the love she shared with all who knew her.
