Patsy Ruth Green

Patsy Ruth Green, 85 of Powderly, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023.
Funeral services have been set for Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. DJ Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
Patsy was born in Paris, Texas on March 28, 1938 to Benjamin Harrison Dollins, Sr. and Rosie Bell Hignight Dollins. She enjoyed traveling, going out to eat and spending time with her family that she loved so much. In her younger years she enjoyed painting on canvas, which she displayed in her home.
Patsy attended Paris schools and recieved her GED in Irving, Texas. She then went to work for Westinghouse which later became Phillips Lighting and retired after 38 1/2 years.
She is survived by her son, Barry Don Springer and wife Sandy; grandson, Garrick Blake Pearson; brother, Harrison Dollins, Jr. and wife Doris and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.V. Green; sisters, Bonnie Murphy Richardson, Ellen Nolan, Dorothy Ellis, Betty Jo Plummer, Ida Mae Thomas; brothers, Clarence Dollins, James "Doodle" Dollins.
