LILESVILLE- On Friday, December 5, 2025, Mrs. Patsy Beachum "Pat" Gulledge, 78, passed away peacefully at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro.
Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Monday, December 8, 2025, at Lilesville Cemetery with Rev, Jim Ritter officiating.
The family will greet friends following the graveside service in the cemetery.
Pat was born November 14, 1947 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Crowell David Beachum and Dorothy Martin Beachum. She was a 1966 graduate of Wadesboro High School and dedicated her life to service, kindness, and her community. She retired from the Anson County School System, serving as school secretary. Pat touched countless lives, offering encouragement, compassion, and a listening ear to anyone who walked through the school doors. She was a lifelong member of Lilesville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Amy (Dickie) Dawkins of Lilesville; her grandchildren, Greg (Callie) Huneycutt of Pinehurst, Nicole Dawkins of Lilesville, Rick (Katie) Dawkins of Lilesville and April (Brandon) Surratt of Ansonville; 10 great-grandchildren; her brothers, David (Libby) Beachum, Jr. of Polkton and Darrell (Cindy) Beachum of Wadesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Gulledge; her infant daughter, Carrie Ann Gulledge; and her sister, Mary Alice Hill.
