Patsy Ruth Harper, age 87 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Nashville. She was born on October 13, 1937, in Old Washington, to the late Andy and Vira Green Young.
Mrs. Harper was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ. She loved working in her flower garden and will be remembered as a wonderful cook. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Alan Harper; two grandsons, Jason Patrick Reid and Louis Cole Jackson; and a brother, Jimmy Young.
Survivors include her two sons, Tony Jackson and Jimbo Jackson and his wife, Diane; one daughter, Sherry Skinner and her husband, Jesse; four siblings, Billy Tom Young, Betty Priddy, Lynda Osburn and Max Young; eight grandchildren, Joey Reid, Gena Slaton, Jeffery Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Lily Jackson, Carly Owen and Bailey Jackson; fourteen great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harper will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Latimer Funeral Chapel with Alan Green and Welsey Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Ozan Cemetery at Bingen, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
