Patsy Hawkins Obituary
Patsy was the daughter of Fred Henry Scott and Ruby Pearl Ellis Scott Barlow. She was a retired factory worker.
Preceded in death by her parents and father, Owen Barlow, father of her children, Harold Douglas Hawkins; significant other, Jerry Pennington, brothers, Ricky Barlow, Butch Barlow, Ralph Scott, and infant brother.
Survivors include her son, Douglas (Robin) Hawkins of Cookeville; daughters, Jackie Hill and Jennifer (James) Brown both of Cookeville; brothers, Randy and Gil Scott; sisters, Linda (Carl) Smith of Hilham, Sandy (Patrick) Heinrich of Gainesboro, Rosalie Kelsey of Joelton, TN; Christa Brumfield of West VA and Suzanne Holmes of KY; grandchildren, Douglas Wayne (Gabrielle Hayden) Hawkins, Brittany (John) Allison, Courtney (Jesse) Basham, Lucius "Luke" Hill, Josh (Mariah Dowell) Hill, Joseph (Ella Grace Clopton) Brown, Jonathan (Kyra Harvin) Brown, Emily Brown, Peyton (Cameron Howard) Sagely, Seth Wylie and Nathan (Nikki McCormick) Wylie. 19 great grandchildren also survive along with several nieces, nephews and aunts.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 4 pm to 9 pm and Friday 9 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with John Allison and James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Berry Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Berry Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
