Patsy Lynn Horton, born on October 10, 1944, in Selmer, TN, was a beloved daughter to Marvin F. and Judy Mosier Clayton. On December 22, 2024, she peacefully departed from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories at the age of 80.

Throughout her journey, Patsy dedicated many years to her passion as a beautician, bringing joy and beauty to those around her. She also worked at the SawMill Furniture Company in Selmer, TN. With an eye for design, she and her husband Roger transformed homes through remodeling and flipping, creating stunning spaces that showcased her talents.

Patsy’s love for life was evident in all that she did. She took great pleasure in tending to her garden, where she nurtured beautiful flowers that brightened her surroundings. A true enthusiast of life’s simple joys, she delighted in shopping and thrifting adventures, enjoyed fishing with her family on the pier, looked forward to the races, and loved singing karaoke, filling the air with her joyful spirit.

Most affectionately known as "Gang-Gang," a title bestowed by her treasured granddaughter Kailee, Patsy cherished her role as a grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy, and she adored each precious moment spent with them, including her great-grandson Parker.

Patsy leaves behind her loving daughter, Kim Wright and husband Philip of Selmer, TN; her cherished granddaughter, Kailee Murphy and husband Kyle of Savannah, TN; her sweet great-grandson, Parker Murphy; a sister, Betty Butler and husband Perry; a brother, Ronnie Clayton and wife Debbie; brother-in-law Jerry Horton; and a host of extended family and friends who will dearly miss her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Gooch; her second husband, Roger Horton; her brother, Larry Neal Clayton; her sister, Donna Jean Clayton; and her beloved cat, Tinkerbell.

Patsy Lynn Horton’s warmth, creativity, and love for her family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. As we celebrate her incredible life, we remember the beautiful moments she shared with us and the lasting impact she had on our lives.
