Patsy Jane Jarrette

FARMINGTON – Patsy Jane Jarrette, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2023, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 92. She was born on May 6, 1931, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late William and Ruth (Hulsey) Wines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt David Hopple, her siblings, Myron (the late Eileen) Wines, William (the late Dorothy) Wines Jr., Evelyn (the late Martin) Castle, and Raymond (the late Joyce) Wines, and her son-in-law, Donnie Wine.
Patsy is survived by her children, Sue (Joe) Pearsall of Farmington, Dianne Wine of Blacksburg, VA, Michael (Kathy) Hopple of Summerville, SC, Mary Thompson of Park Hills, and Wendy (Danny) Meis of Eleva, WI, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Patsy was a member of Abundant Life Family Church of Farmington. She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, and was a talented cake decorator. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 8:00am until time of service at 10:00am at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Rick Hensley. Interment to follow at Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery in Grubville.
