Patsy Jeannine (Crowder) Johnson, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2023. She was born to Julia Jane Crowder and Oren "Monk" Monzell Crowder on September 15, 1943, in Cisco, Texas.
Patsy graduated from Cisco High School in 1961, and then attended Cisco Junior College where she met the love of her life, performed as a Wrangler Bell, was selected as Basketball Sweetheart, and graduated as salutatorian.
She married Bobby Johnson on July 19, 1963, and together they raised their two children: Shawn and Shannon. In 1986, they gained a "bonus" son, Nicolas Lacassagne. Nick was a foreign exchange student from France; he and Patsy formed a very special bond that never left her heart. Bobby and Patsy shared a love for collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and traveling. Patsy was also an avid collector of Hallmark ornaments and enjoyed selecting the perfect ones as gifts for her loved ones. She cherished spending time with her childhood friends, the "Coffee Girls", beating her mom and daughter at Scrabble, attending craft shows with her sister, and watching her children and grandchildren perform on stage or in the band.
Patsy is survived by her son Shawn Johnson of Cisco, TX, daughter Shannon Johnson-Hendricks of Glenn Heights, TX, grandchildren Devin and Alexis Johnson, Kendall and Casey Haynes, Malori Hendricks, Katie Johnson, and Maci Hendricks, great-grandchildren Clifford and Heather Haynes, sister Cathy Barber, and brother Keith Crowder.
She is reunited in Heaven with her husband, parents, and relatives whom she has missed dearly.
