Patsy Johnson Pitmon Obituary
Lord on December 20, 2023. A native of Travelers Rest, she was predeceased by her parents,
Broadus Johnson and Virginia Johnson Thomas as well as sister Ann Johnson Staggs and her
brother Jimmy Johnson. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of North Fork Baptist
Church.
She is survived by her son: Scott Pitmon (Angie); her daughters: Morgan Pitmon Mills and
Jourdan Pitmon Turner; her grandchildren: Parker, Elison, Madison, Chase, Piper, Isaiah, Bo,
and Henry; her nieces: Tina Thieme (Jason), Tracy Kluge, Tracy Pitmon, Lori Bowles, and Cindy Pitmon.
She was a mom to so many others.
Pat was completely dedicated to her family, her friends, and her faith. She touched many
throughout her life through her care for others, sense of humor, and love for all. She made
those around her feel important and seen. She will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received by the family from 1:30pm to 3pm at Locust Hill Baptist Church located at 5534 Locust Hill Rd Travelers Rest SC on Wednesday December 27th. A service celebrating her life will follow at 3PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Fork Baptist Church P.O. Box 610 Travelers
Rest, South Carolina 29690.

Walt,
I’ve didn’t know about Pat’s home going until today. She was such a sweet and loving lady, and we know you will all miss her terribly. Thank God we know she is with her Saviour, and it won’t be long until you will see her again, well and whole, in Heaven. In the meantime, we are praying for God’s love to surround all of you, and you will be comforted knowing she is at home with Jesus. God bless and keep you and all of your family

Walt, Scott, Morgan and Jourdan,
Pat was one of a kind, a rel gem. She had a huge heart and loved fiercely. She and I had great times together. My heart is broken. Pat can't be replaced, nor forgotten. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time and in the coming months. Life will be difficult without her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
