Patsy Jones

Patsy Lyons Jones, 90, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born April 12, 1933 in Humnoke to Elmer and Marie Tubb Lyons.
Patsy was reared and educated in Humnoke. She worked and retired from Georgia Pacific in the bag plant and was also a homemaker. Patsy and her husband pastored Ferda Pentecostal Church of God for 30 years. She loved gardening, sewing and traveling. Patsy was a very good cook and she made the best fried chicken and pecan pie. She also loved people. For the past eight years, she attended Sheridan Pentecostal Church of God.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 63 years, Rev. Jack Jones, who passed away August 1, 2013; a brother, George "Bud" Lyons; and two sisters, Cloyteen Richardson and Pauline Durden.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Jackie Jones (Cherry) and Don Jones (Terri); a brother, Joe Lyons; two granddaughters, Melissa Stewart (Allen) and Heather Brown (Jimmy); three great grandchildren, Caleb Stewart, Cassidy Stewart and Holten Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 16, 2023 at Ralph Robinson and Son with Rev. Jackie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
