Patsy Louise Kidwell

Patsy Louise (Dawson) Kidwell, 73-year-old Spavinaw resident, passed away early Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Clarehouse in Tulsa. She was born on March 9, 1951, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Felix Everett Dawson and Mildred Louies (Hill) Dawson. Patsy graduated from Bixby High School and the Tulsa Beauty College. On July 18, 1974, she married the love of her life Jack Kidwell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Patsy owned and operated Patsy's Beauty Salon in Langley for many years, she also helped Jack with his businesses as well. Patsy was a member of the Spavinaw First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and played in the worship band. She loved to play the bass fiddle, helping others, and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Terry Eddy and Peggy Hines.
She is survived by her husband Jack of the home, children, Patty Kidwell of the Woodlands, Texas, Johnny Jack Kidwell and wife Charybel of Tulsa, Joe Kidwell and wife April of Owasso, a brother, Daniel Dawson and wife Nancy of Meeker, grandchildren, Tyler, Cianna, Alexandria, Ella, Jack, Jonathan, Joseph, and Simeon, and one great-grandchild, Emery.
The celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Spavinaw First Baptist Church, with Pastor Charles Evans officiating. Friends may give to the Susan G.
