Patsy Jean Jay Nesahkluah Kinney was born in Kansas on March 8, 1948, and passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 77. She was the daughter of Ethel Higgins and Paul Jay Nesahkluah. She was the mother of Christopher Byrum (deceased), Michael Byrum (deceased), and her living daughter Jacqueline Orona, whom she called JackieB. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and cherished several great-grandchildren.
Patsy was adventurous and always did her best to care for anyone who needed her help. She was deeply loved by many and will be dearly missed. She is no longer suffering and is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father. She will never be forgotten—she was loved beyond measure. She was my sweetie, my sweetie.
In her final moments, though she was scared, she was reminded not to fear, for God has her.
Memorial Service will be 1 pm, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, Kansas 67213.
