Patsy Lawson, formerly Patsy French, born in Santa Anna, Texas passed at the age of 86 in the loving home of Johnny and Leslie Lawson on December 26, 2024. Patsy was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She loved the Green Bay Packers and her Texans with everything in her. Most of all though, she enjoyed spending time with her family. By most she was known as Grannie, Mom, or Aunt Patsy. She will be missed greatly by us all.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Willie and Minnie French, and her husband, James Lawson. She is survived by sons, Jim Lawson (wife Janet Lawson) and Johnny Lawson (wife Leslie Lawson); daughter, Brenda Johnson (Dale Johnson); grandchildren, Beth (Nikki), Tina, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Sarah, Traci, Steven, and numerous great grandchildren, family, and friends.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., and public visitation will be from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will then be held at Hayes Grace Memorial at 12:30 p.m. Pallbearers as part of the service will include Johnny Lawson, Jim Lawson, Steven Mott, Ray Lawson, Darby Herm, and Robert Herm.
