Patsy S. (Robinson) Lederer, 76, passed away on September 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born on July 26, 1949, in a small town in Western North Carolina, Patsy went on to attend the University of South Carolina and began her work career at the F.W. Woolworth distribution Center in Greenville, SC, where she met her husband, Mike Lederer. She moved to Grafton, Wisconsin (WI), in 1979 and married Mike in 1980 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Patsy served in many positions (mostly in Human Resources) during the 24 years that she worked for Kelch Corporation. In 2002, she joined KeyLink Solutions as their HR Manager, but by 2005, both she and Mike decided to relocate to Islamorada, Florida. While in Florida, she was employed at The Island Bank (TIB) and the Florida Keys Electric Coop. In 2012, she retired and moved back to Northern Wisconsin with Mike to their lake home near Crivitz.
She lived a life full of warmth, curiosity, and joy. She had an unmatched passion for plants, and everyone who knew her knows that her home and gardens were always alive with greenery and blooms. Whether tending to her flowers or watching orioles and hummingbirds from her window, she found beauty and peace in nature. Patsy could talk with anyone about anything, and she had a way of making every conversation feel meaningful.
Patsy, Mike, and their daughter Mandie enjoyed many wonderful vacations visiting National Parks and scuba diving in the tropics.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike; her daughter, Mandie (Zopp) (Zach) of Beaver Dam; her two grandchildren, Rowan (7) and Willow (10) Zopp of Beaver Dam, who brought her endless pride and happiness; nieces and nephews; and many close friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her father, mother and brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial and memorial service will take place at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church in Crooked Lake, WI, on Saturday, September 27th, at 11:00 AM. An additional reception to celebrate Patsy’s life will take place at Lime Kiln Park in Grafton, WI, on Tuesday, September 30th, between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that donations be made to St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church in Lakewood, WI, for the purpose of having future Sunday masses said in Patsy’s honor.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her laughter, love, and the gardens she nurtured will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
