Patsy's Obituaries

Patsy LaRae Lewis, age 69, of Rexburg, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Center in Idaho Falls.

Patsy was born April 5, 1956, in Coalville, Utah a daughter to Clarence R. Brusnahan and Doris LaRae Stevens.  She attended South Summit schools graduating from South Summit Highschool. She also attended Utah Technical College studying shorthand and stenography. Patsy worked as a Para professional in the South Summit Schools and as an Office Manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints PM Group. Patsy Married Max Wilde Lewis in 1978 in the Provo, Utah Temple; they were later divorced.

She has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in Primary, Sunday School, Relief Society, Scouting, and Young Women’s organizations.

Patsy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, writing poetry, softball, and watching children and grandchildren perform and participate in sporting events.

She is survived by her sons: Travis (Stacie) Lewis of Marion, Utah, Quintin (Tina) Lewis of Heber City, Utah, Dustin Lewis and Jhae Mehn of Holiday, Utah, and Rowdy (Carissa) Lewis of Rigby, Idaho, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters JoAnn (Ralph) Hallam of Lyman, Wyoming,  JerieSue (Mick) Clegg of Marion, Utah, Tracie Graham of Portland, Oregon, Tamara Louder of Marion, Utah, 3 brothers David (Joan) Louder of Marion, Utah, Tony (Judy) Louder of Marion, Utah, and Todd Louder of Oakley, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Brusnahan and Doris LaRae Stevens and 2 sisters Kayla (Lynn) Prescott, and Dixie Day.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Rexburg 8th Ward 314 East 2nd North Rexburg, Idaho. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Marion Stake Center 3038 North State Road 32 Kamas, Utah 84036. The Family will visit with friends Friday April 18, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Marion Stake Center and prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.  Burial will follow services in the Stevens Cemetery 5346 North State Road 32, Oakley, Utah.
