Patsy Lynn Obituary

Died: July 12, 2023 in Ottawa, IL
Patsy Lynn, age 76, of Ottawa, IL, passed away on July 12, 2023. She was a strong and independent woman, with a generous heart. Patsy was very adventurous and loved to experience new things. She enjoyed traveling across Europe, several trips to Ecuador, and spent Christmas in Costa Rica. Patsy was very proud of her family, and they loved and cared for her very much.
Patsy is survived by her dear friend and life partner, Keith Longhini, as well as her three daughters: Cindy (Doug) Tankersley of Peoria, IL, Chris (John) Atherton of Mesa, Arizona, and Deb Johnson of Streator, IL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters: Linda Hatton, Diana Nelson, Sandy Cade Lawson, and one brother: Mike (Margaret) Lawson. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Ruth Lawson, and father, Sanford Ray Lawson.
Patsy attended Laraway Elementary School and graduated from Joliet Township High School in the Class of 1964. She furthered her education at Joliet Jr. College, earning an associate's degree. Patsy had a fulfilling career and retired from Joliet Junior College Library.
She loved motorcycle riding, movies, music concerts, and travel. Patsy was a member of the Lockport Moose #1557 and enjoyed playing corn hole and frisbee golf. In her free time, she cherished spending time with her loved ones.
The family gathered to share a meal and precious memories to honor Patsy. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Patsy Lynn. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
