Patsy Ann Miracle-Pickens, 92, passed away August 22, 2025. She was born January 29,1933 to Jess and Harvey Miracle in Okemah, Oklahoma.

Patsy was a natural born leader donating her energy in many organizations, her church and civic causes. She was elected president of the Mulvane City Council where she served two consecutive terms. Her zeal for people, especially youth, fueled her perpetual energy and kind acts. Some of her interests and abilities were researching genealogy, sewing, cooking, cake decorating, wood working, photography and educator. In her earlier years she attended a private girls' college in Missouri and taught horseback riding. She finished her bachelor's degree at Oklahoma University. Patsy worked for Trans World Airlines post college and traveled the world. Soon she met and fell in love with Lee and settled in Kansas to raise their three daughters. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years and then a director for the Girl Scout Corporate office and later taught at the Derby Middle School. Once she retired, she was active in youth groups, church council, parochial school and doting on her seven grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee; grandson, Kyle Patrick Adams and brother, Robert Miracle.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary (Edward) Coyle, Laura (Lonnie) Joe, Katherine (Grady) Adams, Grandchildren; Alexander (Shelby) Coyle, Adrienne Coyle, Madison (Fiancé, Kyle Levesque) Joe, Eriq Joe, Kaitlin (Adam) Biggs, Logan (Allie) Adams and Great-Grandchildren; Kale Biggs, Kinleigh Biggs, Hayden Adams, Cohen Adams and Tatum Levesque.

Visitation with family is 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS and funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, August 29, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church, 324 N Baltimore Ave, Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110 and Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219.
