Patsy Juanita Montgomery

Patsy Juanita Montgomery, 79, of Town Creek, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at at her home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Wendell Olive officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.

Born on February 11, 1946 to the late Hyram and Velma Hall Cook, Patsy was a member of the Cowboy Church of Colbert County. She enjoyed working in the yard and growing flowers. Most of all she enjoyed simply being with people, especially her family and friends,

Survivors include her children, Bonita (Craig) Reynolds, and Benjy Montgomery; grandchildren, Drew Owens, Corey Whitworth, Chris Cameron, Jennifer Webb, and Clint Cameron; three great-grandchildren; sister, Pam Folz; her beloved dog, Badger; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, James Montgomery; parents; sons, David Keith Cameron, and Jody Montgomery; granddaughter, Heather Cameron; great-grandson, Will Owens; sister, Martha Dawson; and brother, Robert Cook.

Pallbearers will be Benjy Montgomery, Drew Owens, Chris Cameron, Shane Whitworth, Josh Curry, and Stacy Tyler.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Affinity Hospice, the Cowboy Church of Colbert County, and all of Patsy's friends for all of their care and prayers.
