Patsy Marie Mooney, born on October 5, 1946, in Lagrange, GA, passed away on March 2, 2025, in Dalton, GA. Pasty was a dedicated office support staff member in the textile manufacturing industry. She loved her work and took pride in being a part of a field that shaped her community.
Family was everything to Patsy. She is survived by her daughter, Pamila A. Payne; her son, Chris Mooney; and her beloved granddaughter, Kelsey Payne, as well as Baleigh Payne Cook and her great-grandkids, Emerson, Willow, and Riggins Cook. Her son-in-law, Tomas Payne, also held a special place in her heart.
Pasty was known for her love of dogs and enjoyed spending time shopping and making memories with her family. She found joy in the little things and always knew how to lift others' spirits. Her warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pasty's life will be celebrated through cremation, with plans for a gathering to share stories and remember the wonderful moments spent together. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
