Indianapolis, Indiana – Patsy Jean Moore passed away after being comforted by her husband on September 29, 2023. Pat was born to Roy Hale and Dealie Adams in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on May 15, 1943. She was 80 years old.
Pat worked for RCA and Roselyn Bakery for many years but most important to her was her family. She married A.D. Moore on October 3, 1959, and they remained together for 64 years until her passing.
An outgoing woman, Pat never met a stranger she could not make a friend. She loved to garden, to read, and to help other people. More than anything else, she will be remembered for her selflessness.
In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Hale, Ronnie Hale, Tim Hale, and sister Carolyn Geralds.
She is survived by her husband, A.D. Moore; daughter Tammy Gregory, sister Sue Denton (Darryl), grandchildren Alisha Gregory, Tammy Wallace, and Alan Gregory; 4 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Family & friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 11 am. Entombment will follow funeral services.
