Patsy Moore Obituary
In addition to her mother, Patsy was preceded in death by her stepfather, Andy "Buck" Joyce. Patsy was also preceded in death by her first husband, Roger David George, and her second husband, Charles Levan Moore. She was also preceded in passing by her siblings, Bobby Hicks, Darrell Hicks, and Shirley Kennedy.
She is survived by her loving children, Chris George and wife Shannon, Alison George and husband Christopher Barrett, and Mollie Philbin; her sister, Delores "Bid" McMahan; and her cherished grandchildren, Spencer, Ruby, and Camden George, and Megan, James, and Jon Philbin.
Patsy had a deep love for photography-especially nature photography-and could often be found capturing the beauty of the world around her. She enjoyed not only taking photos but also the creative process of editing them to bring her vision to life. Music was another of her passions, and she delighted in sharing her love of song and melody with her children and grandchildren. Known for her warm heart and wonderful sense of humor, Patsy brought laughter and joy to everyone she met. Above all, she treasured her role as "Mommaw," finding her greatest happiness in time spent with her grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Patsy's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, North Carolina. The family will greet friends following the service.

Patsy's gentle spirit, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
