Patsy Loretta Mosley, 70, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1955, in
Richlands, Virginia, to the late Pauline "Polly" Harman Graybeal and Finley Harman, and was a beloved stepdaughter to the late James Roby Graybeal.
Patsy had a heart far bigger than herself-loving, nurturing, sweet, and endlessly kind. Affectionately known as "Mama Mo," she brought warmth, laughter, and comfort wherever she went. Her gentle spirit and selfless nature made her a cherished daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Of all the roles she held throughout her life, her favorite was being "Grandma," a title she embraced with immense joy and pride.
A woman of many talents and a life rooted in service, Patsy wore many hats over the years, including cosmetologist, restaurant owner, stay-at-home mom, school volunteer, activities director, and medical insurance biller. No matter the role, she approached everything she did with compassion, dedication, and grace.
Patsy's sweet, funny, and generous spirit drew people to her effortlessly. She found joy in simple pleasures-bingo nights, casino trips, card and board games, fishing, being outdoors, and most of all, watching her son and grandsons play sports. She gave her time freely, whether volunteering at school, donating blood, or quietly helping someone in need, always seeking ways to brighten the lives of others.
Patsy is survived by her son, Clinton St. Mosley (Susan), who was the joy of her life and her greatest pride; her stepsons, Mike Mosley (Connie) and Jen Mosley; her stepdaughter, Angel Schuck (Ryan); her special friend, George Kaefer; her siblings, Donnie Harman, Cathy Harrison, Doris Mills (Pat), and Keith Graybeal (Heather); and her beloved grandchildren, Spencer and Oliver St. Mosley. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lloyd Mosley.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15, at 4:00 p.m. at Modetz Silverbell Chapel in Lake Orion, with visitation immediately following from 5:00–8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in
Knoxville, TN at Rose Funeral & Cremation - Mann 6200 Kingston Pike on Wednesday, December 17th at 5:00pm followed by a receiving of friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Additional services will be held at Cumby Funeral Home in
Archdale, North Carolina. Patsy will be laid to rest at Holly Hill Cemetery in Thomasville, North Carolina.
Patsy's legacy of kindness, warmth, and generosity will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched. Even in her final act of love, she gave selflessly by donating through Gift of Life. Her nurturing spirit and boundless compassion remain a lasting gift to all who were blessed to know her.
