Patsy Sue Mull, 87, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at her home in Great Bend, Kansas. Born August 20, 1938, in Larned, she was the daughter of William Edward and Florence (Dipman) Smith. On April 5, 1958, she married Gene Mull at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend. They were blessed with 57 years until he passed away September 2, 2015.

Patsy was a lifelong resident of Barton County. She enjoyed her career as a hairdresser for nearly 60 years in her home beauty salon. She was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Lake Barton Ladies Golf Association. In her spare time, she found joy in baking, especially her beloved chocolate sheet cake and banana bread.

Survivors include one son, Tobin Mull and his wife Jerrie Ann of Great Bend; one daughter, Natalie Schommer and her husband Jeff of Wichita; five grandchildren, Brett Dueser and his wife Alli, Brandon Dueser, Madison Dueser (Douglas), Michelle Elliott and her husband Jordan, Aaron Mull and his wife Lindsey; five great grandchildren, Elliott Tripp, Dalton Hunn, Easton Scheer, Callen Elliott and Jovie Elliott; brothers, Gary Smith and his wife Marti of Larned, Doug Smith and his wife Mary of Larned. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Gene Mull; brothers, James Smith, and Curtis Smith; sisters, Marlene Hamilton and Sarah Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend with Pastor Larry Schumacher and Reverend James A. Strasen officiating. Burial will follow at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with family receiving guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
