Patsy I. Naylor

Patsy I. Dukes Naylor, age 78, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Patsy was born in Christian County, KY, on January 11, 1948, the daughter of the late Arvil and Ella Johnson Dukes, the baby girl of thirteen siblings that have all went on before her. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and all of her siblings, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean "Pete" Naylor in 2010; and her great grandson, Ethan Dean Naylor in 2025.

Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Laverne Naylor Merrill of Hopkinsville; her son, Harold Ray (Kelly) Naylor of Bowling Green, KY; her three granddaughters, Mandy Naylor Rios, Brittany Naylor Baker, Shawnie Naylor; and her four great grandsons, Miguel Rios, Christian Rios, Alejandro Rios, and Aiden Baker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt 2200 Children's Way Nashville, TN, 37232.
