Patsy graduated from Quincy Senior High School in 1957. After working at Carson Pirie Scott for a few years, she dedicated her life to being a homemaker and raising her children and grandchildren in the same home that she lived in for over 60 years. In addition to her husband, Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, David. Patsy is survived by her children, Larry O'Hara (Carla) of Denton, TX; Steven O'Hara of Rowlett, TX; Pam Eldridge of Quincy; and Tammy Tonnies (Shelby) of Quincy, along with her grandchildren: Timothy O'Hara of Carrollton, TX; Corinne O'Hara of Denton, TX; Jordan Eldridge of Oak Park, IL; Chandler O'Hara of Denton, TX; Jacob Eldridge, Carsen Tonnies, Brennen Tonnies, and Emersyn Tonnies, all of Quincy.
A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, 10:00 am at O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park. The visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at O'Donnell-Cookson. Memorials are suggested to Central Baptist Church.
