Patsy O'Leary Obituary
Patsy was born in Greenville, North Carolina, and in 1959, after graduating from East Carolina University, she moved to California where she worked at Four Star Productions as Assistant to the Producer. She then completed her Master's degree in English from California State University at Northridge in 1977. Upon relocating back to Greenville in 1979, She taught at ECU from 1980-1981 as a lecturer in English. From 1980-2021, she was an instructor of Creative Writing and Family Stories at Pitt Community College. In 1997, Patsy had her first and only book published, "With Wings as Eagles."
In addition to her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by a brother, Gene Proctor Baker, and sister-in-law, Judy Ballance Baker.
Surviving are daughter, Linda O'Leary; granddaughter, Gwynlynn O'Leary; and great-grandson, Beau Coyote Muto; all of Greenville, South Carolina.
