Patsy Bunn Owen, 83, of Mecklenburg County, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2025 surrounded by family and love. Born on March 3, 1942, to Barry Henry Bunn and Carriebet Mulchi Bunn, Patsy lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and a deep appreciation for life's simple joys.

Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Fuller Owen, and her sister, Diane B. Beam. She is survived by her devoted son, Bobby Dale Owen, and his wife Jennifer; her cherished granddaughters, Michaela Grace (and fiancé Stephen Lenhart) and Morgan Ray; and her loving extended family: niece Tracey Greenway (Brian), nephew Kyle Beam (Kim), great-nephew Noah Greenway (fiancée Colleena Zacharzuk), great-nieces Izzie and Skylar Beam, and brother-in-law Richard Beam.

For over 30 years, Patsy worked at Russell Stover Candies in Clarksville, Virginia, where she was known for her dedication and warmth. Outside of work, she found joy in time spent with her dear friend Betty Jones, with whom she shared countless outings and memories.

A faithful member of Tungsten Baptist Church, Patsy loved her church family deeply and found strength and comfort in her faith. She also had a fondness for the finer things-beautiful jewelry, bright-colored nail polish, and anything that added a little sparkle to life.

Patsy will be remembered for her gracious spirit, her laughter, and her unwavering love for those around her. She touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and quiet strength.

A celebration of Patsy's life will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Tungsten Baptist Church with Pastor Earnie Taylor officiating.

For those wishing to send their condolences with flower arrangements please consider gifting a potted plant or a plant that can be placed into the garden that Patsy's granddaughters plan to set up in her honor.
