Patsy was truly one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and gentle people I have ever known. She loved spending time with her special friends, always eager to socialize and connect. Her Catholic faith played an important role in her life, guiding her as she continuously sought to become a better person. Patsy´s artistic talents were remarkable; she generously shared the beautiful things she created with those she loved. She always spoke warmly and with deep respect for her husband, and her sons were her greatest source of consolation, pride, and joy. The happiness that shone on her face whenever she recounted memories of her boys was unforgettable and heartwarming to witness.
Patsy had the sweetest baking skills, and my family was lucky enough to enjoy her delicious treats. She gifted us with so many sweet Yule tide log cakes. My family was especially fortunate to experience both her hospitality and her cakes! For a Hobbit-themed event my children attended, Patsy crafted a Bilbo Baggins "eleventy-first" birthday cake, perfectly capturing the magic of the movie-it was truly amazing. Her generosity extended to her knitting as well; she made about five Snoopy sweaters for my grandchildren, who all cherish both the sweaters and Patsy herself. She visited some of them, and they still reveal how much they love her. Others went and visited her, and they remain proud owners of those beautiful Snoopy sweaters, remembering her fondly.
She became a child of God, baptized as an adult in the Faith, a gentle but strong soul, always trying to learn more about Truth and our Lord through the Catholic Faith, and set a beautiful example of suffering through the cross, one she received and embraced without complaint. The makings of a Saint. She handled the suffering she was given with great dignity, acceptance, and peace. Patsy was looking forward to being received by our Lord in Eternity and set an amazing example for me to follow throughout life. I love you, my gentle, kind friend, Patsy, and will keep you encompassed in prayers, and I look forward to meeting you again in Eternity.

There will be some things that trigger tears, some that bring memories of laughter, and some you may never expect may come your way but, they will all remind you of what made life with your mom so special.

From our first meeting when you hired me for the Meals on Wheels Program through the years that followed, our friendship grew. You always found joy in knitting, puzzles, reading, gardening, nature and people.I will miss our talks and baking together. In the last couple years, your strength and endurance through all your sufferings only assures me that, as you once sought your Father, you are now in Heaven with Him.May your sons know that your love for them was immeasurable.
