Patsy Juanita Bledsoe Parker, 77, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away January 11, 2026. Born October 15, 1948, in Surry County to the late Sherman Foley Bledsoe and the late Martha Bessie Jenkins Bledsoe. Patsy worked in the Washington Mills and Indera Mills Factories and babysat neighborhood children until later opening a game room and tanning bed business. She ran the game room and tanning bed until retirement, where she then went to work at Mountain Man, in Cana, VA. She was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Second Chance Church. Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her true pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law, Shelia “Michelle” Parker King and Terry; son, Timothy “Mitchell” Parker; grandchildren, Charles Oxendine and Elani, Sarah Oxendine and Austin Fernandez, and Dillon Parker and Ashley Jackson; great grandchildren, Lilianna Oxendine, Oliver Oxendine, Karmen Parker, and Eli Parker; brother and sister-in-law, Ray Bledsoe and Kim; as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Parker. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Second Chance Church. The funeral will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, following the visitation at 2:00 PM at Second Chance Church with Rev. Terry Coe, Mark Newman, and Rev. Kevin Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Parker family.
