Patsy “Pat” Ruth Gleghorn, age 85, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on March 18, 1940, in Paris, Arkansas, to James Winford Huckaby and Agnes Geneva (Thornton) Huckaby.

Pat spent her working years serving as a school secretary for the Violet Hill School System for 12 years, where she was known for her dedication and kindness. Above all else, Pat loved her family and treasured time spent with them.

She had a fun and spirited personality and enjoyed collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia, watching old westerns, and keeping up with golf on television. Pat was also a loyal Golden State Warriors fan. Her Christian faith was an important part of her life and guided her throughout the years.

Pat is survived by her son, James Gleghorn of Ash Flat, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Daniel Gleghorn of Rogers, Arkansas, Taylor Gleghorn (Lauren) of Cave Springs, Arkansas, and Dalton Gleghorn (Mary Claire) of Lowell, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Maggie Gleghorn, Hutton Gleghorn, Rett Gleghorn, and Nora Gleghorn; her sister, Shelby Holzman of Ozark, Arkansas; along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford and Agnes Huckaby, and her sister, Beverly Johnson.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. Tyler Fox officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
