Kevin Andrew Potter, age 69, of Eastanollee, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
Born on July 15, 1956, in Santa Monica, California, Kevin was the beloved son of Rita Gill Potter and the late Harold “Hal” Potter. He spent many years as a dedicated salesman with Consolidated Pipe & Supply Company in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and the genuine relationships he built with coworkers and customers alike, before retiring.
Kevin found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He especially loved spending time fishing and cheering on his favorite Racecar drivers, moments that brought him relaxation and happiness. Kevin was of the Catholic faith, drawing strength and comfort from his beliefs throughout his life.
In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Potter Eskew.
He is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife, Danette Cooper Potter, whom he married on December 28, 1985. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, companionship, and mutual devotion. He is also survived by his mother, Rita Gill Potter; brother, Shawn Potter; sisters, Susie Bristow, Kellie Barito, and Colleen Johnson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Rice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
