Patsy Ruth Powell

Patsy Ruth Powell, 81 years young, of Weatherford, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, in the Breyley Suite at Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, located at 2301 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76111.The graveside funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17, at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Patsy was born October 1, 1943, in Bay City, Texas, to James Harvey Powell and Mary Myrtle Maxwell. She was one of six siblings. Patsy was a woman of faith and participated in community with other believers at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas.
Patsy loved to ride motorcycles and was part of riding clubs in Houston, Texas. She also spent most of her life serving others through administrative clerical duties for several companies, most notably ADT, ending her career with Bass Pro Shops. Patsy loved to spend time by any lakes and enjoyed being in the mountains celebrating God's creation. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet, quilt, and paint by numbers. She loved her family and never forgot a birthday.
Patsy was preceded in death by her mother; father; sisters; and brothers.
She is survived by her two sons, Rodney Lindsey and Roger Lindsey; her daughters-in-law, Donna Lindsey and Lori Lindsey; her sister, Margaret Cox; her grandchildren, Candice and Thomas Flynn, Brynn and Parker Ellis, Clay and Cara Phillips, AJ Lindsey, and Cody Lindsey; and her great-grandchildren, Carly, Cason, and Cacey Phillips.
