Patsy Lorraine Reeder, 78, loving wife, devoted mother, amazing sister, beloved aunt, and caring friend, passed away July 15, 2025 in Pueblo, Colorado. All who knew her and loved her will miss her smile, affection and independent spirit.

Patsy was born August 9,1946 in San Mateo, New Mexico to Clois and Lorraine (Michael) Baird. Patsy attended school in La Junta, Colorado and graduated from La Junta High School and Otero Junior College. She later completed her education at Colorado State University Pueblo, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. She married William (Bill) Reeder in 1966, shortly after that, their son, Mark Douglas arrived. The family made their home in Pueblo, Colorado. Patsy began her career with Farm Credit Service where she made many lifelong friends, while she continued to advance her position, until retiring from Farm Credit as a Vice President of Lending. After leaving Farm Credit, Patsy went back to school to complete her business degree in accounting and finance from Colorado State University, Pueblo. She began her second career as an accountant for Domega Homes and then as accountant/controller for West Tech Communications, until her retirement in 2016.

Patsy's family was at the center of her life. Her greatest joy came from attending sporting events for her son and then later for all of her nieces and nephews. She never missed a birthday, graduation, recital, concert or any other special event for her family members. Patsy was an accomplished seamstress, creating costumes and making clothes for her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed baking and creating wonderful desserts, especially around the holidays. She enjoyed traveling, going to theatre productions, concerts, and movies, as well as being an avid fan of watching sports on TV.

Patsy was a longtime volunteer at the Pueblo State Fair helping with judging and 4-H events. She was generous with her time and talents; always making and delivering baked goods to family, friends and neighbors. Her hospitality knew no limits; everyone was always welcome in her home.

Patsy is survived by her loving and devoted son, Mark Douglas Reeder of Pueblo; sisters, Ginger (Bud) Ozzello; Peaches (Sheldon) Bowen; brothers, Mike (Luann) Baird; Jim (Tanya) Baird, Ken (Kimberly Gade) Baird. Patsy was loved and adored by her many nieces and nephews, along with her great nieces and nephews.
