Patsy Romine

It is with great sorrow we announce Patsy A. Romine of Beacon and formerly Verplank, NY, passed away, surrounded by loved ones, following a brief illness at St. Luke's Hospital on February 4, 2025. She was 58 years old.
Patsy was born on June 4, 1966 in Peekskill, NY to Robert A. and Shirley A. Brannan Stratton. She was a 1984 graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School. In June of 1989 Patsy would marry her high school sweetheart William J. They would go on to have three beautiful daughters; Alison, Miranda and Kimberly. Sadly, Patsy would be predeceased by William in June of 2007.
Patsy is survived by her daughters of Beacon as well as her brothers Monte (Claudette) Stratton of Nanticoke, PA and Robert (Michelle) Stratton of Peekskill, NY and sister Connie Stratton of Endicott, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patsy lived a life of service, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. She taught us the importance of kindness, generosity, and love. Though she is gone, her spirit will forever remain in the memories of those who loved her. Patsy was a beloved mother, devoted friend, and cherished member of our community. She was a shining light in the lives of her daughters, always offering love, support, and guidance. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her church inspired many, and her compassion extended to every child she cared for at her daycare.
Visitation will be held at McHoul Funeral home in Fishkill on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 12-4pm. Funeral service will also be held at McHoul funeral home in Fishkill on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10am with burial to follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery in Ossining,NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe page in her honor. Let us gather to celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched.
