Patsy Margaret Russell, age 80
Of: Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at her home in Waverly, TN. She was born May 14, 1943, in West Helena, Arkansas. Patsy was considered a social butterfly and always made fast friends wherever she was. When she was younger, she was well liked by her peers and basketball teammates who gave her the nickname “Shag”. As she got older, she developed her love of dancing. Patsy was a dance instructor for several years at Author Murray; and later became a square dancer and caller. After her granddaughter became involved in cheerleading, Patsy became the assistant cheerleading coach. She will be forever remembered for her classy appearance, her love of dancing, and friendship she shared with many.
Mrs. Russell’s wishes were to be cremated.
