Charleen Nordsell Glasgow

Charleen Nordsell Glasgow., 85, of Rogers, Arkansas died peacefully with her family by her side January 25, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born January 17, 1939 in Belleville, Ill., to Bill Erwin and Eileen Erwin Amelung. She married Theodore Oscar Nordsell Jr. on July 19, 1958 in Belleville, Ill. They had 3 children Theodore Oscar Nordsell lll, Nanette and husband Tim Mika. Linda and husband Eben Jones Sr.
Ted passed away 2002. She married Ron Glasgow in 2008, a family friend and a member of her church. Ron passed in 2012.
She was a charter member of Grace United Methodist Church, was a Registered Nurse and a member of the Emmaus Community.
Charleen retired from the VA medical Center Fayetteville, AR in 1995, previously working for Daisy BB in Rogers, Arkansas. Graduating from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, AR becoming a lifelong Razorback fan. More recently Charleen became involved in NOMADS, she was also active in Grace United Methodist Church of Rogers, where she served in the choir, food pantry, and the Sunday community meals, her Emmaus Reunion Group of more than 25 years. She enjoyed several mission trips to Mexico and Costa Rica. She also enjoyed traveling with her family.
Charleen is survived by her 3 adult children, 5 grandchildren Alicia McCready, Cathryn McLeod, Charleen Nevada Efird, Eben Jones, Jr and Madalyn Townsley. And 5 great grandchildren, Brianna, Kate, Miller Grace, Archibald Wild, and Georgianna Sue.
3 step-children Ron Glasgow Jr, Raymond Glasgow, and Jill Glasgow.
All are welcome at the Memorial service which will be held 2/10/24 at 11:00am at Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 S. Dixieland Rd, Rogers, 72758. With Russ Breshears officiating. A Private graveside service will be held at the National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR
