Patsy Sharum

Patsy (Pat) Ruth Brodbeck Aliano Sharum, a 89-year-old resident of Hanna City, IL peacefully departed this life at home on February 15, 2025.
Born on October 18, 1935, in Peoria, Illinois, she was the daughter of George John Warren and Ruby Fern Graves Brodbeck.
Pat first married Daniel D. Aliano on September 17, 1955, in Peoria. Their time together was cut short when he passed away on May 10, 1964. She later found love again with Frank F. Sharum, marrying him on December 6, 1968, in Washington, Illinois, only to face the heartache of his passing on December 1, 1987.
A lifelong member of the Lutheran faith, Pat leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her beloved children, Danette (John) Grafelman and Danna (Ava) Aliano; her two adoring grandchildren, Jason (Rhonda) Grafelman and Jennifer Grafelman; and her precious great-granddaughters, Allison and Addison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Bob, Chet, Mike Brodbeck, and one sister: Ruby Wilbur-Arms.
Cremation has been honored, and plans for a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services, Peoria has been entrusted with her arrangements.
