Patsy Spell Obituary
Patsy Spell 64 passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Wake Med in Raleigh.
Patsy was born May 23, 1957 in Wake County to the late William R. Carr and Lola West Carr. She worked for years in healthcare as a registered nurse. She enjoyed gardening, dancing to beach music and had a talent for home decorating. Most of all Patsy loved her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and those that knew her.
Patsy is preceded in death by her brother Bruce Carr.
A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Hillcrest Cemetery located on Hobbton Hwy in Newton Grove. Pastor Casey Welker officiating.
Patsy leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Melissa Jane Evans of Autryville; her siblings Billy Carr of Newton Grove and Eddie Carr and wife Addie of Clinton; and grandson Kaleb Evans of Autryville. She will also be missed dearly by her special friend and neighbor R.C. Williams and wife Leola.
The Spell Family has entrusted Hope Valley Hawkins with professional services.

Sorry for your loss. Patsy was my classmate going to school. She was a nice young lady. Always smiling she loved everyone she meant. She will be missed. Praying for family in time like this. Gone never forgotten.

I´ve known Patsy for over 40 years, she was a loving, mother, grandmother and friend! I will miss your precious smile my friend, you will be missed so very much! We will see each other again in our forever home! Rest In Peace, I love you!
