Patsy Ann Tarter, age 77, of, Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday October 28th, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born October 29th, 1947, in Casey Co., KY, a daughter of the late Roscoe Luttrell and Marie Henson Luttrell Elmore and (Charlie Elmore).

Patsy was a retired cook for the Casey County School System having worked at Jones Park Elementary and Middleburg Elementary.

Survivors include: her spouse: Jerry Tarter whom she wed on December 23rd, 1964, two sons: Brent and (Missy) Tarter of Columbia and Todd Tarter of Liberty, three grandchildren: Cory and (Spencer) Roy of Russell Springs, Hunter Tarter and Caleb Tarter both of Liberty, two great grandchildren: Cambrie and Sabin Roy of Russell Springs and one sister: Barbara Lanham of North Vernon, IN.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was one son: Jeffrey Tarter, eight siblings: Ralston Luttrell, Numan Luttrell, Granville Luttrell, Betty Louise Luttrell, Lela Hoskins, Connie Sayers, Bernice Hopper and a infant brother.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Saturday November 1st, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel and after 10:00 A.M. on Sunday November 2nd, at South Fork Separate Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 2nd, 2025, at South Fork Separate Baptist Church. Bro. Troy Coffey and Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery.
