Patsy Marie Tatum

Services for Patsy Tatum, 81, of Tyler, will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Basham officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tatum passed away December 20, 2025, in Tyler. She was born October 20, 1944, near Gainesville, Texas, to Frank Emmett and Eula Belle Cason Crutsinger.

Patsy was a faithful attendee of Southern Baptist churches volunteering as a pianist, choir member, VBS director, and much more. She attended college and became office manager of Johnson Motor Company in Gainesville. While in that position, she met her husband, Boyd Tatum, and continued life creating a family assuming the homemaker role.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eula Crutsinger; daughter, Dana Regester; sister, Wanda Crutsinger Jones; and multiple nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving family, including husband Boyd Tatum of 58 years; son-in-law, Jim and Brandi Regester and family; grandson, Kyle and Ashlyn Regester; granddaughters, Ashlee and Amie Regester; great-granddaughter, Ellie Regester; future great-grandson, Jack Regester; and brother, Glenn and Suzzanne Crutsinger and children.

Pallbearers will be Andy Jenkins, Dale Johnston, Jason Regester, Jere McManus, Steve Phillips, and Wayne Moses.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00–2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.

If desired, memorials may be made in Patsy's name to Hospice of East Texas or one's own choice of charity.
