Patsy Thompson was my sister-in-law and beloved friend for 44 years. I have many, many wonderful memories of such fun times spent together. Patsy’s laugh was infectious and she always enjoyed a good joke. She loved to dance and she, her husband Jimmy and my husband Ken “Butch” Thompson went to dinner and dancing several times a month for years.
She fiercely loved her husband and three daughters, and always tried to make sure the girls participated in activities growing up that would help build character, self-esteem and confidence that they would take with them into their adult lives.
Patsy adored flowers and had a knack and a passion for for growing them. Her flower beds would be envied by any Master Gardener. She spent countless hours nurturing, tending and developing beautiful flower gardens in her yards.
Patsy will be missed by all of us, but we are at peace knowing she is now holding hands again with her teenage love and husband of 35 years, who passed before her.
As for me, I know she is hanging onto that mysterious nickel she and I found at that “Crazy Place” so many years ago and she has been hanging onto it so we can reminisce and laugh about it when we meet again. Blessings Patsy, love you! ❤
