John Hoffman

John Hoffman Easley, SC John Hoffman, 88, of Country Side Village and husband of Mary Margaret Hoffman died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at his residence. Born in Amsterdam, NY, he was a son of the late Aloiz and Sabina K. Hoffman. He was a graduate of NY State University and was a Chemist with Fouke Fur Company. Mr. Hoffman loved bowling, playing the Harmonica and was an expert at Horse Shoes. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Hoffman. Surviving in addition to his wife are: sons, John B. Hoffman, Jr. of Greenville and Ed Hoffman of Columbia; daughters, Mary Rose Callahan (Bobby) of Washington, N.J. and Jane Pingley (Ron) of Piedmont; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home Chapel-Downtown. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
