Patsy Irene Trujillo, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2026, at the age of 83 in Truchas, NM.
Patsy lived a life rooted in love, strength and devotion to her family. She was known for her kindness, gentle spirit and humility.
Though Patsy worked in the medical receptionist role early on, she felt that motherhood was her true calling. After raising her three children, she took on becoming a stay at home mom raising her niece Katrina, as a full-time special needs caregiver and also raised her two granddaughters Camille and Cathleen.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank and Julia Medina; her beloved daughters, Carol Ann Gomez and Katrina Medina, her brothers, Leonard, Michael, Lawrence Medina; and her sister, Leona Tiede.
A faithful member of Holy Family Parish in Chimayo, Patsy served as Mayordomo and Eucharistic Minister and was always ready and able to volunteer in church activities.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband David, married just shy of 64 years on April 15th, 2026; children, Ernest, David(Anna), Grandchildren, Camille (Isaac), Cathleen(Josh), Bryanna, Brooke and Brandyn. Great grandchildren, Flor, Jazmine, Liam, Easton James and Emma.
Services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Holy Family Church in Chimayo, NM. Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. An interment ceremony will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.

Patsy will be deeply missed, loved and always remembered.
