Patsy Jean Walker

Patsy Jean Walker, age 78, of Sharpe, KY, died Monday, August 20, 2012, at Parkview Nursing Center in Paducah, KY. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Walker was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church where she was a pianist and organist for 53 years. She was the daughter of the late Garland Lofton and the late Lola Mae (Young) Lofton. She was raised by her aunt and uncle: Lena and Sonnie English. She is survived by: Two Daughters: Kathy Johnson, Paducah, KY, Linda Walker, Sharpe, KY; One Sister: Frances Holt, Sharpe, KY; and One Grand Child: Brett Shather. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: G.W. Walker. Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 22, 2012, Rev. Chris Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
