To the family I send my condolences to you and your family that God comfort you in your time of need

Patsy, my friend, and I grew up together, attended proms, were majorettes together and graduated together from Richlands HS. I remember Patsy, Esther, Connie and I marched in the Christmas parade down New Bridge Street and by the old Roses on Court Street as snow fell gently. Frozen but full of RHS and community pride, we marched and enjoyed every moment of the parade.

We shared many, and made many memories in our younger days and early married lives. We walked many miles over the roads of Nine Mile on Sunday's between Sunday morning service and training union. When I was finally able to drive Mama's car, Patsy and I and others piled in and enjoyed cruising around the Toot & Tell It, the Country Girl Drive In and Buds.

Our senior prom night, I remember Patsy and Dave walking along the beach hand-in-hand with the moonlight bright above. She was so happy. That is an image of my friend I hold dear.

While distance and time came between visits, I hold dear and recall all the memories made that still remain as if they were yesterday in my heart.

May God bless each family member with comfort in knowing Patsy awaits each of us in heaven.
