Patsy Ruth Mullins Ward, age 81, passed away after a short illness on April 9, 2026.

She was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on October 24, 1944, and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1962. She married the love of her life on February 16, 1963. Mrs. Ward worked in the family business of Hugh Ward Construction and dedicated most of her life to being a homemaker. She was most often found at ballgames, where she enjoyed watching her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren play and coach a variety of sports. She was always involved in the various booster clubs through the years. She was a long-time member of the Milan First United Methodist Church but attended the Milan Cumberland Presbyterian Church in recent years with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kelly (Jim) Ward; mother, Marie Mullins; father, Cecil Mullins; and sister, Jane Hutchison.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her sons, Keith (Julie) Ward of Milan, Tennessee and Kevin (Kim) Ward of Bells, Tennessee; sisters, Linda McCadams of Milan, Tennessee and Carolyn Coffman of Humboldt, Tennessee;grandchildren, Brennen (Brittany) Ward, Alex (Wesley) Cox, Kelli Ward, Bethanne (Bryce) Doyle, Brooke (Victor) Claybrooks, Abbie Ward (fiancé DaMaurie Williams), Sullivan Burke and Cary Allen Burke, nine great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Reverend Paul Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 P.M. until the service hour.
