Morris & Hislope Funeral HomePatsy Kay Warren, 85, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born on March 24, 1940 to the late Thomas Acton & Lou Anna (Dick) Barber in Ware, Kentucky. She was a devoted member of Bethelridge Methodist Church, where her faith was an important and guiding part of her life. She found great joy in quilting, gardening, and tending to her flowers, taking pride in the beauty she created with her hands. A gifted seamstress, she lovingly crafted clothing not only for herself but for others in her community, sharing her talent generously. Above all, she fiercely loved her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William David Warren; her children, Pam & (Dale) Whitaker and Larry & (Judy) Warren; grandaughters, Brandy Barnett and Patsy Barnett; step-grandchildren, Brandi Whitaker, Valerie Anderson, and Jordan Whitaker; great-grandaughter, Oaklyn Rose; and step-great-grandchildren, Kayra Anderson, Kaden Anderson, Cooper Hood, Macie Whitaker, and Ellianne Whitaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Louanna Warren; her sisters, Lavene Scott, Avalene Spears, Esther Roberts, Barthella Moore, Inez Godby, Shirley Hetzel, and Peggy Randolph; and several infant brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Bethelridge Methodist Church with Bro. Darrell Vance officiating.
Burial will be at Bethelridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Warren, Joey Warren, Bobby Warren, Billy Warren, Rick Warren, and Boyd Randolph.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until time for services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethelridge Cemetery Fund.
