Patsy Weckler Obituary
Patsy Pauline (McMillan) Weckler was born in Big Spring, TX on September 15, 1935 to Raselmo Q. "R.E." McMillan and Inita Ruth (Morrison) McMillan. She passed away at home in Bell, FL on November 9, 2024 following a brief illness, completing her life's journey at the age of 89.
Patsy and her former spouse, William Clifford Thompson (d. 2006), had two children together and moved from Warren, OH to Ocala, FL in 1966. In 1983 Patsy married William L. "Bill" Weckler. Together they renovated a historic home in downtown Ocala, where they lived for 29 years. Subsequently they purchased property in Bell, FL where they rehabilitated a home and enjoyed living peacefully. She was an active member of Ocala First Assembly of God.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Weckler; two daughters, Janet Weldon of Ocala and Diana Darr of Gainesville, FL; three grandchildren: Erin Weldon of Castro Valley, CA, Tate Weldon of Ocala, and Clara Darr of Gainesville. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express gratitude to Haven Hospice for their care. Memorial gifts may be made to the church of your choice.
