Patsy Ray Wesley

Patsy Ray Taylor Wesley, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2026. She was born July 16, 1947, in Osceola, Arkansas, to Mary Virginia Fielder Taylor and Dolphus Ray Taylor.

Patsy's family wishes to express deep appreciation for the compassionate care provided to her in recent years from the dedicated team at Atkins Nursing & Rehab Center. The staff brought great comfort and dignity to her life through their tireless efforts, professionalism, and kindness. For this, her loved ones are truly thankful.

Patsy was affectionately known as "Nonny" by her grandchildren. She had a deep love of quilting, sewing, and painting, and enjoyed sharing her passion for creativity by hosting craft classes and seasonal workshops in her "Art Room." A testament of her lifelong commitment to her craft, Patsy was still using her Singer sewing machine she was given in 1963.

Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her life, reflected in inspirational reminders framed throughout her home and her devotionals from the Daily Word.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her daughter, Paula Riddle.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Wesley; her brother, Tyler "Ty" Taylor; her son, Paul (Tami) Chaney; her son-in-law, Chris Riddle; her stepson, Fr. Shaun Wesley; and her four grandchildren, Brandon (Heath) Riddle-Sims, Jordan Riddle, Ryan (Faith) Chaney, and Sarah (Josh) Chaney.

Visitation will Monday, February 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle, Arkansas. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February, at 1 p.m. at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas.

Officiating the service will be Fr. Shaun Wesley of Church of St. John the Baptist in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Riddle-Sims, Heath Riddle-Sims, Jordan Riddle, Ryan Chaney, Devin Brown, and Brian Miller.
