Patsy Ruth Dennis Williams, born July 6, 1939, in Big Spring, TX passed away to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 86.

After traveling with her then Air Force husband, T/SGT Richard Dennis, for many years, Pat and her children moved in 1971 to live in Burnet, Tx., a small town environment. It was there they soon realized they had found a home.

In 1974, Pat went to work for the Burnet Chamber of Commerce as Secretary to the Board of Directors and the Chamber manager. While with the Chamber, Pat organized the Old Fiddler's Contest when their convention was moved to Burnet. Pat won Chairman of the Year for her work on the Miss Burnet Bluebonnet pageant. Pat was recruited to work for the City of Burnet serving as Secretary to the City Manager, then later as City Secretary, Finance Officer, and Personnel Director. Pat was an active member of the Epsilon Pi Sorority for many years and served a term as President. Pat also served on the Board of Directors of Burnet/Williamson County Opportunities serving two terms as President and numerous years at First State Bank of Burnet as Secretary. The greatest pleasure she had in the work world were the years she spent working parttime for the Hill Country Community Foundation. She totally enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful organization that contributes so much to the community.

She married her loving husband, Don Williams on November 28, 1980.

Pat is survived by her sister, Vickie (David) McElreath, their son Paul (Lori) McElreath, granddaughter Cassandra and grandson Jacob. Her son Warren (Karen) Dennis, grandson Daniel (Courtney) Dennis and 1 great grandchild; granddaughter Brittany (Dobie) New and 2 great grandchildren; granddaughter Sarah Pipkin. Her daughter Cheryl (Mitchell) Smith, grandson Jason (Cari) Whitfield and 4 great grandchildren; grandson Cory (Meghan) Smith and 3 great grandchildren, granddaughter Jennifer Smith; and granddaughter Kristin (Alex) Herzik and 4 great grandchildren. Her daughter Glenda (Cody) Orman, grandson Nathan Orman and 2 great grandchildren; granddaughter Crissy (Robert) Carr and 4 great grandchildren; granddaughter Jessica (Kyle) Kates and 2 great grandchildren; grandson Dustin (Bo) Orman and great grandson. Her son, Kevin and 2 grandchildren, Alexandra (David) De La Rosa and Kylie. Pat is also survived by her sisters-in-law Bobbye, wife of Corky Deel and Sandra, wife of Mike Deel.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Don Williams, parents Avery and Theo Deel, brother Roy Glen (Corky) Deel, brother Michael James (Mike) Deel, brother Anthony Greg (Tony) Deel, grandson Nathan Orman, her niece Rochelle McElreath and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The time and date of Pat's memorial service will be on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Tx.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hill Country Community Foundation, P. O. Box 848, Burnet, Tx. 78611.
